F2 approved facade study · same model geometry and finances · source v14 / 7 October 2026
Open side-by-side facade comparison ↗
Paired windows create a calmer bay rhythm. Dark reveals, slim mullions and pale sills provide depth. Openings remain a design proposal requiring room, structure, energy and fire review.
This detail treats existing concept home entries at 4200/4500 and the drawn upper-home entries at Evans. Evans ground access remains the separate EV-G1 study. Hardware, approach grades and accessible maneuvering clearances are unresolved.
Roman-brick proportions, crisp terracotta bands, relieving-arch brick patterns and original vine-inspired metalwork at the existing loggias. Window bays illustrate facade intent; this study has no approved opening schedule. Blank party lines remain blank. Existing footprints, stories, homes and financial inputs are retained; facade premiums require pricing. Courtyard furniture and a 12-ft ornamental tree are shown at study scale only after a 10-ft object zone clears saved building/stair footprints; accessible routes, utilities and landscape costs require coordination.
A contemporary interpretation informed by Mecca Flats, honoring its Bronzeville Black community and displacement history. Decorative motifs do not add an atrium or change access galleries. Historical context ↗
